Welcome to our study of the Old Testament versus the New Testament. Today, we explore the types of tithing, specifically focusing on the regular tithe.
In the Book of Exodus 29:30-40:38, we learn about the daily sacrifices offered by the children of Israel. Each day, they brought two lambs as offerings, one in the morning and one in the evening. Additionally, one-tenth of an ephah of fine flour mixed with oil and wine was presented as a drink offering.
This daily tithing practice underscores the continuous devotion of the Israelites to God. It demonstrates their commitment to honoring Him through regular sacrifices and offerings.
As we continue our study, we will delve into other types of tithes mentioned in the Scriptures. Stay tuned for our next session, where we will explore further insights into this important topic.
