How old was Jesus when he died? In Luke 3:23, we were told Jesus was 30 years old when he began his ministry. Scholars concluded Jesus was 33 years old when he died.
Jesus Christ began his ministry between the year 26 - 30 AD at the age of 30 years according to Luke 3:23 and he ministered for 3 years.
Jesus Ministry and Ascension
Following the scholars' conclusion of 33 years at death, Jesus's ministry lasted for 3 years and came to an end in the year 29 - 33 AD.
According to Acts 1:3; Jesus ascended to heaven on the 40th day after his resurrection from the dead. And the Pentecost day (50 days from the Sabbath after passover) was 9 days ahead.

This, to a greater extent, confirmed that Jesus Christ was 33 years old when he died in the same year of the pentecost - 33AD.
